Welcome to UK CAP Payments. On this website you will find details of amounts received by UK beneficiaries under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
This information is provided in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No 259/2008 as amended by Commission Regulation (EU) No 410/2011. This requires EU Member States to publish details of legal persons who are recipients of CAP subsidy payments on a single national website. In the UK, examples of legal persons are registered companies, other incorporated bodies, limited liability partnerships, trusts and partnerships under Scottish law.
Details of natural persons, such as sole traders and most partnerships outside Scotland, are not included on the searchable database. Anonymised details of payments made to natural persons (i.e. without details of the beneficiaries themselves) have been included in the spreadsheets available to download from this site.
The UK Government remains committed to full transparency in the use of public funds, including the publication of details about all payments made under the CAP, whether to legal or to natural persons. The European Commission has stressed that the current situation is an interim arrangement. The UK is actively pressing the Commission to bring forward comprehensive proposals to achieve greater transparency in the longer term.
The details included on the searchable database (legal persons data only) and for download (legal and anonymised natural persons data) relate to all CAP subsidy payments made to relevant beneficiaries during the financial years 16 October 2011 to 15 October 2012 and 16 October 2012 to 15 October 2013.
The total amount received by each beneficiary is allocated between three headings: direct aid (e.g. the Single Payment Scheme), market schemes and rural development measures.
